My relationship with Richard Haas goes back to 1971 when I studied under him at Bennington College. Dick was at the time making huge etchings of building facades and he was beginning to redefine the European trompe l’oeil tradition for the United States. I painted on his first interior trompe l’oeil in NYC and have been on call to execute his building size exteriors ever since. Continuing to this day, we are working in Homewood, Illinois to restore murals originally painted in 1986 and creating new ones. These are painted in Keim mineral colors.
